This family oriented event including a kids world kicks off Saturday morning with a 3 mile walk through Historic Downtown Abbeville.
Abbeville's Magdaline Square with its majestic oaks and old fashioned gazebo is the setting for the 2 day Arts & Craft Show.
Stop and dance to some of Louisiana's best music.
Antique farm implements provide a challenge to those competing in Saturday's egg cracking contest.
The fun continues on Sunday with addition of the antique cars on display, along with more music guaranteed to get you dancing.
Grab your seat early for the procession of chefs, eggs and bread to the Giant 12 foot skillet where fun and follie are the order of day for those preparing the "5000 Egg" Giant Omelette. | | | 2008 Special Guest

Three-time record holder for his high-speed eggs-perience, Howard holds the record for the fastest omelet cooker in the world and can whip up a whopping 427 omelets in a mere 30 minutes. To earn his second and third world records, Howard flipped an omelet an amazing 30 times in 34 seconds before it broke, and he cooked the fastest omelet ever recorded – 42 seconds from when the eggs were cracked to when the finished omelet was on the plate.
For 30 years, Howard has been spreading the good word about the good egg on television and radio shows and has been featured in newspapers and magazines, as well. Howard has appeared as a guest to teach the art of cooking omelets on shows such as “Oprah,” “Good Morning America,” “Live with Regis and Kathy Lee” and “CBS This Morning,” and has appeared on Food Network shows including “Unwrapped,” “Roker on the Road” and “Cooking Live.” Howard has been featured in The New York Times and the Dallas Morning News. He is regularly invited to conduct his entertaining and informative sessions at major national food and restaurant show events, and was even a question to an answer on the TV game show, “Jeopardy.”
